9. Analytics and Session Measurement
We use two measurement services so we can see which guides actually help people and which pages confuse them:
- Google Analytics 4: reports aggregated traffic, page views, referral sources, and device categories. IP addresses are handled by Google and are not stored by us in an identifiable form.
- Microsoft Clarity: records anonymised interaction data such as scroll depth, clicks, and heatmaps so we can spot layout problems. Clarity masks text input by default, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.
You can read the relevant vendor notices atGoogle partner sites and the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation, normally no longer than 24 months. Aggregated analytics data is retained according to the default retention windows of the services listed above. Server log entries are rotated on a short cycle by our hosting provider.
Our hosting, analytics, and advertising vendors operate globally, so your data may be processed on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, those transfers rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent approved transfer mechanism put in place by the vendor.
